I’ve always dreamed of being a writer. The thread woven between the pages of my life is my love for the written word. Stories and characters played in my head waiting for the day they could bust out and have a life of their own.
After a successful career as a photojournalist, I decided I needed a change. I returned to school and got my master's in human services, specializing in counseling. During my time working in mental health clinics, the idea for a book took root, resulting in my first fiction novel: The Headshrinkers Brigade, published by Treaty Oak Publishers.
Born and raised in Texas, I currently live in a small town in the Texas Hill Country with my husband, my precocious teenage daughter, and two terribly spoiled dogs.
